Medicines Patent Pool: Stimulating Innovation, Improving Access

The Medicines Patent Pool hosted an event on Wednesday, 18 May 2011 at the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in Geneva, Switzerland.

A side-event to the Standing Committee on the Law of Patents (SCP), WIPO’s forum for the discussion of international patent laws and norms, the event introduced the Medicines Patent Pool to a packed room of WIPO delegates who were discussing issues related to patents and health during the SCP.
