MPP’s Head of Policy, Esteban Burrone, will be speaking on “Public-health oriented voluntary licensing as a mechanism to promote access to affordable medicines”

Monday 1 July
18:30 – 20:30 “Closing the Treatment Gap for Children Living with HIV” in Mini Room 3.
MPP’s Executive Director, Greg Perry, will be co-chairing this session exploring bottlenecks in treatment for children, and ways to overcome them to ensure children get the care they need.

For the duration of the IAS, MPP will be at booth number 107, where demonstrations of its Patent Status Database will be offered. The MPP’s The Patent Status Database is the largest open access source of information for HIV medicines patents in developing countries. It enables users to make strategic decisions based on HIV medicine patent status that can profoundly impact organisations working on HIV treatment. If you are attending the IAS, please feel free to pass by the booth to pick up more information on the Patent Status Database or the MPP itself.
